We are seeking a dynamic and creative professional to help
continue to build the Society’s capacity in the areas of fund-raising and communications.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education supplemented by a demonstrated track record of fund-raising success. In addition, the candidate must be able to multi-task, be a self-starter, and possess exceptional communication skills. A Fund-raising designation or certification would be a definite asset.

This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues
across the organization.

Fundraising, marketing and communications experience required.

Position:                  
Director, Community Relations
Provincial Office, Edmonton
(Full-time, 35 hours per week)

Reporting to:          
Chief Executive Officer
                                   

Role:                         
This position has two primary areas of responsibility:

  1. Community development, including corporate relations, special events support, and Regional infrastructure support
  2. Communications, including working collaboratively with the Society’s National Office and the Regional offices to develop and implement the Society’s communications plan. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for media liaison, and overseeing Society’s web site.
